Sleep in the comfort of a fully enclosed and fully sealed (no creepie crawlies or mosquitos!) camper trailer or tent, experience a touch of Australian cuisine and still have time to yourself to explore your surroundings.

Our Adventure Camping Tours are put together by BC'n'U Camper Trailers, a Sydney based company with over 15 years camping experience. Our abseiling activities are run by Blue Mountains Ropewerx, a Blue Mountains based company with over 12 years experience in abseiling, rock climbing, canyoning and bush walking.

Details for All tours:
All tours are run only one and a half hours out of Sydney, New South Wales, in the majestic Blue Mountains during the middle of the week.

Days:    Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

Meeting place:   Blackheath Railway Station,Blue Mountains

Time:   Be at Blackheath Railway Station by l0.00am on the day.

Cost:   $385.00 per person.

Meals:   Fully catered and included in the cost of the tour.

Please NOTE:

• Breakfast is not provided on Day One nor the Evening meal on Day Three.
  
• A deposit is required in advance to confirm a place on your selected tour.
  
• All camping equipment and adventure activity equipment is provided.

What to expect:

All our tours are scoped towards a small group of no more than 12 people.

Day One you will arrive at camp around mid-morning. The afternoon will be spent doing some bush-survival training. At the end of the afternoon you will know how to look after the bush, know a little about our protected plants and animals, know about some of our more dangerous creatures, be able to find north, south, etc (with or without a compass) and have some 'light' survival training.

Day Two is a beginners abseiling day (no experience required). Our beginners course is designed to teach you the fundamental skills required to abseil safely and correctly in the company of others.
We start you off on the small beginners block and slowly build up your confidence and your abilities.
We increase the height in manageable steps, giving you lots of practice at each level before moving on to the next step. You are very well prepared for the 50 meter cliff at the end of the day! You do not need to complete any of the abseils if you do not wish. You can, at any time, stop and watch others as they throw themselves over a cliff.

Day Three will be a tour of some of the more unusual places in the Blue Mountains that many visitors do not get to see. Places such as Hanging Rock. We will then drop you off at a Railway station in time to catch the next train to your destination.

What to bring:

At the very least you will need to bring the following:

• a camera
• your own toiletries, including sunscreen and insect repellant
• a warm jacket
• a rain coat or wet weather clothing of some sort
• clothing for 3 days
• good hiking boots or sturdy runners
• a small day pack for carrying your camera, note book, hankies, snack food etc.

If you have any special requirements (eg, vegetarian food, medical conditions that require you eat at certain times) please tell us. We will do everything we can to assist you. Again, a checklist will be provided after you book with us.

About bush camping:
Bush camping is not motel accommodation. There will be pit toilets available. We will provide a wash area but showers will not be available. You will be experiencing the bush in all its glory without the luxury of running water.
