BOOKING PROCEDURE & FEES
Each candidate must book in with CASA and nominate which examinations they intend to sit
for each sitting. The exam fees, currently $100, must be paid at the time of booking the
first examination. This $100 pays for seven examination attempts. If you sit only two
exams in this sitting, then CASA will record that you still have five exam credits to use
at some later time. In the unfortunate situation that you fail an examination or two, then
you can use some of these credits to re-sit those subjects. But eventually when you have
used all of your credits, then you will be required to pay an additional $100 to sit any
additional examinations.
Once you have booked in for an examination, CASA expect you to sit the examination/s as
booked. Cancellation of bookings may be done before the closing date for a sitting by a
simple letter to CASA. After the closing date, deferrals/cancellations will only be
accepted if supported by a letter from an employer or doctor’s certificate outlining
your circumstances.
