Ian MacKay, 66, self employed carpenter, private pilot, artist, photographer and former commercial pilot. Does the ray tracing.
Has had a Highly Commended and a Third Place in the IRTC Competition and his Toco Toucan image graces the Year Three IRTC CD and Cover much to our astonishment and pleasure.

Ethel MacKay, 59, (this picture is a few years old!) has an email business for accommodation establishments without computers, volunteer computer teacher, web page designer and all round computer nut does all the computer stuff other than ray tracing. This year have been ill and in and out of hospital and this will continue for a while yet. To those who send an update or a listing for the 'Who Are We' web site which I created and maintain, my apologies for the long delays in updating your page or getting you on the site that have been experienced. The delays may continue for a while but I will get you on.

Programs:- Povray 3 for DOS, Fractint for DOS.
Competence: Intermediate
Good at:- CSG (it's carpentry isn't it?), concepts and composition,
maybe.
Bad at:- Organic shapes, soft shapes etc therefore Blobs and the
like. Totally ignorant of modellers and other fancy programs used by list
members. Don't understand Povray Manual Section 7.2.5 (and much of the
rest).
Objectives:- I just like making pictures! Came to ray tracing from
Photography (too expensive) and Oil painting (too messy).
