Internet Business Presence Package: for a fee of $300 plus 10% GST, total $330, we offer you our standard $88 access package (see below for full details), and a professionally designed Web page. The Web page is 1-2 computer screens long (if you need larger Web site, additional charges apply). It includes information you provide about your business in the form of text and graphics. We convert all materials into electronic format, create the Web page, and place it on our server at no additional cost.

If your business is ready to accept enquiries/orders/reservations by e-mail, your web page may contain a form which your customers can fill in and submit. Data resulting from such submissions will be immediately sent to you as an e-mail messages.

	All our lines support speeds up to 56K (V.90 standard).
	No registration, setup, or account closing (cancellation) fees. No joining fees. No plan change charge.
	Local access from 02 47... phone area. You incur two costs each time you connect to the Internet: the cost of the phone call to connect to our modems (typically 25c/call – based on local call rates, various Telstra special plans and call discounts may apply), and Hermes Internet dial-up access plan charges, as listed below. It is your responsibility to ensure that the phone call from you to Hermes Internet is charged as "local call" by Telstra. To our best knowledge all phone calls from any 02 47... number to our dial-up number, which is located mid-mountains, are charged by Telstra as local. However Hermes Internet takes no responsibility for any charges incurred on your phone account as a result of calling from a phone number outside of local area. We recommend that you confirm that your connection is "local call" access by contacting Telstra, and quoting both your own phone number and our dial-up number which is: 02 4780 3000.
	24 hours 7 days a week access (with the exception of occasional maintenance or unscheduled downtimes).

Internet Access Rates

90 cents per hour (1.5 cents per minute) and 19 cents per Mb of data,

you will be charged for all time you were connected to Internet at the rate of:

$0.90 per hour, charged in blocks of 1 sec, and
$0.19 per Mbyte for all data transfers (in and out), charged in blocks of 1 byte

After you complete each session your usage (time rounded to the nearest minute, data in bytes) will be subtracted from your payment. When you connect from another Internet site or another ISP service to collect your mail from Hermes Internet account, this is also seen as a connection. In such a case only data charges are incurred, with length of the session set to zero.

If you wish, you can also purchase any amount above $176, i.e.. $200, $250, etc.

monthly credit card account

your usage plus GST calculated at 10% is charged to your credit card (bankcard, VISA or MasterCard) not earlier than 6pm on the last working day of the month, and no later than 6pm on the first working day of the next month. You will be charged for all time you were connected to Internet at the rate of:

$0.90 per hour, charged in blocks of 1 sec, and
$0.19 per Mbyte for all data transfers (in and out), charged in blocks of 1 byte
plus 10% GST

Minimum monthly charge is $22 ($20 Internet access plus $2 GST). This account is recommended only if you expect to use at least 20 hours per month. FREE with your Internet account

Hermes Web Mail – a service for people on the run. E-mail access while away from home or office, no need to reconfigure someone else's mailing software. Use it from an Internet cafe, airport, friend's home, even on the other side of the globe from any Internet connected computer. Point a browser at http://www.hermes.net.au/cgi-bin/checkmail.pll or just click on the picture of ancient Greek boat from our home Web page.

Notes:

	*() accounts which are inactive for six month will be closed, unless otherwise arranged with us. Non financial accounts (accounts with no funds left) will be closed after three months. The fees are non-refundable.**
	On our home Web page you will find special tools for members. Some of them allow you to check and calculate your time and data usage.
	There are no penalty rates for going over you purchased package – if you use all purchased access, your account is simply frozen until we receive another payment.
	Our system is based on "user pays" principle. We do not believe in any "flat" or "average" rates, where one user is asked to pay a bit more to subsidise another user (or pays a bit less and is subsidised by someone). Each user pays for his or her usage.

Internet Cafe and Small Network Connections

For a network of computer, precise formula is:

$0.90 per hour, charged in blocks of 1 sec, and
$0.19 per Mbyte for all data transfers (in and out), charged in blocks of 1 byte
plus 10% GST
MAXIMUM $4.40 per hour ($4 Internet access plus $0.40 GST)

Domain Hosting

Setup fee: $220, paid once, no fixed IP address is necessary.
consists of: setup fee $200 plus $20 GST, total $220

Domain name hosting is a service available to Hermes Internet subscribers only, under normal rules and conditions as described in our Terms and Conditions. It can be provided to any Hermes subscriber who owns a registered domain domain name, and who will arrange delegation of the domain name after its hosting has been setup.

Secure Transaction Server Facility
	Secure transaction server facility, allows you to use scripts for secure collecting of information, for example credit card details, collecting of confidential data, sending of sensitive documents, etc. We offer access to this facility for $100 a year plus $10 GST, total: $110 per year. Banner Advertising on The Main Hermes Internet Web Page
$30 per month plus 10% GST, total $33 or $300 per year plus 10% GST, total $330	The rates are for a standard panel, 234 x 60 pixels, as shown on our Home page. We reserve the right to change the placement, the size or other parameters of the banners. All panels have active link to a separate Advertisements page which gives more details about your product.
technical details	Hermes Internet has elected to conform to the proposed CASIE/IAB Standard advertising image sizes. Banner ads must be 234 pixels wide by 60 pixels high (known as a "half banner"). We accept images in the GIF format only, max 256 colours. We can also design graphics as per your requirements (additional fees apply).
