Sporting History - Australia. The rallying history of the Strato's in Australia.

During the 1970's when the Strato's was designed, built, raced and retired, only one Strato's made it to the shores of Australia for competition use. The car was built to Safari specifications by the factory for Ron Marks. The acquisition of the car was the subject of an article called "THE STRATOS CONNECTION" published in "Sports Car World" in July and September in 1976. The bright yellow car entered a number of events across the country and was always a crowd puller. This car is still owned and garaged by Ron in Australia. The photographs below are all that I have been able to obtain of this car in its prime. They are grouped in events. No results are available for these events.
