Quotable Quote - September 2006

"... we know a great deal more about ourselves then we have normally care to admit, except at the great moments of truth in our life, in love and hate, at birth and death.  Beyond these moments our life seems as if it is one great voyage away from the truths we all encompass, our past and our future, what we were and what we will return to being."

From "Death of a River Guide" by Richard Flanagan.

A Jungian Homepage
Our approach to the life and work of the Swiss psychiatrist Carl Gustav Jung (1875-1961). We are interested in the metaphysical implications of Jung's psychology and its contribution to spiritual persectives, social change and personal growth. We draw our inspiration from reading C G Jung himself and "classical" Jungian commentators such as Edward Edinger and are not so called "post Jungians".

A Page about our life with Birds.

We recently retired after  13 years rescuing and rehabilitating native birds. They have become part of our family and taught us a great deal about ourselves and an indigenous world view. They have truly been our teachers and remain an important  part of our lives .

Human Rights & Social Justice Pages

Much has changed in the past 5 years and many longstanding social issues have been subsumed in or pushed out of awareness by the so called "War on Terror" (Sic). Nonetheless real challenges still exist in the area of social justice and human rights.
The struggle of Tibet and its people to achieve independence from Chinese occupation is a particular issue that has be lost from sight amidst the "War on Terror" and the west's increasing placement of  economically importance ahead of social justice .
