Green Thumbs

On August 11th 1997 a small but committed group of parents began digging, planting & mulching. Sugar maples, chestnuts, walnuts, apples, apricots, cherries, flowering crab apples & Japanese maples were among the grove of trees planted. The work has continued with many more trees and plants planted, mulched, staked and nurtured by the kids of Katoomba Public School, long with their teachers, family and friends.
