The principles of permculture our practised around the world and have significant environmental impact. The concept ws developed in the '70s by Bill Mollison and David Holmgren in response to the soil, water and air pollution by industriall and agricultural systems; loss of plant and animal species; reduction of natural non renewlable resourses; and a destructive economic system. Permaculture is about working with the environment, designing sustainable human settlements for the present and the future.
