New Magpie Markets

The new Magpie Markets at Lawson Public School have started with success for stallholders and visitors alike. The Magpie Markets motto is "Something to Sing About". All funds from the Markets go to the school to provide them with the funds for much needed work, such as a new play gym area.

Each month the markets have a mini theme, for example, most loved pets. There are plenty of children's activities like train rides, face painting, super slides and jumping castles. You will also find it a treat to browse through the great array of stalls from fresh flowers, baking and preserves to clothing, pottery, plants and a great car boot sale.

Sausage sizzles are a favourite but this market also caters for vegetarians with its great lentil burgers.

The New Magpie Markets are held at Lawson Public School, Great Western Highway, on the 3rd Sunday of each month from 10am-2pm, and are well worth a look.
