Secombe Aviation offers intensive seven week ATPL Classroom courses that will equip you for the ATPL(A) examinations. As with our correspondence course, bookings may be made for individual subjects or for the full course. The classrooms are located within the Airtex Aviation complex at 501 Tower Road, Bankstown Airport about 100 m South of Bankstown control tower.

Classroom courses are limited to a maximum of just 15 students. This ensures you will receive individual attention and be able to have ALL your questions answered. Special arrangements can be made for larger numbers or group bookings.

Our courses have proved to be extremely effective. Within our classroom courses you have all the advantages of our comprehensive texts, whilst being taught by Gavin Secombe 'face to face'. These courses include our practice examination packages with answers, so you can see exactly which questions need further clarification. As a result, many of our students achieve a first attempt pass rate in excess of 90% in ALL subjects!

The question is "Do I complete my studies with Secombe Aviation in the classroom or by correspondence?" That may be the hardest decision you need to make. Perhaps the solution may be a combination of both, doing some subjects in the classroom and others by correspondence.

These courses have been used by pilots with vastly different experience levels and backgrounds. Current and former students include pilots from General Aviation, the RAAF, and universities. Our courses worked for them and they will work for you.

You may join our classroom for any individual ATPL subject. Our schedule is designed to minimise the amount of your time needed to complete a subject. This enables you to maximise your knowledge and understanding of each subject so you go into the real CASA exam confident of gaining a great result.

2. FULL COURSE $2500

Should you purchase the 'Full Course' which covers all seven ATPL subjects, you may sit the subjects:
   in one block over a seven week period OR
   in two blocks over consecutive courses OR
   as individual subjects in separate classroom courses over a 12 month period.

You can commence your 'FULL COURSE' with ANY subject, even midway through one course and complete your studies on later courses. You do NOT have to sit all subjects at once. This allows you greater flexibility to plan your studies around your other commitments and still benefit from the discounted purchase price.

*1 Some subjects are omitted from courses #4 & 5 / 2008. Students have the option to sit these subjects on any course within 12 months.

5. CLASSROOM COURSE BOOKING & REFUND POLICY

1    Bookings will be taken on a 'first in, first served basis'. Once the booking list is full
   a Reserve List will be used in the event of cancellations.
2    A $25 fee will be charged for cancellation or change of subject booking.
3    A $50 fee will be charged for cancellation or postponement of a booking within
four working days prior to the commencement of a classroom course (i.e. if you cancel before this time, you will be charged $25, after this time $50).
4    No refund of deposits will be given for "No shows" (i.e. where a student fails to attend the classroom course without cancelling or changing their booking). Cancellations or changes to bookings received on the first day of a subject will be treated as a "No show".
5    Secombe Aviation reserves the right to postpone or cancel courses. In which case students will be given the option to postpone or cancel their booking at no cost.
