I've been using POY-Ray for about 5 years now, and I think I started with ver 2 on a 386-40! To date, the longest render I've done was a space scene (big surprise) that took over 1 month to finish on my old system, a 486-100mhz. (see "The Explorer" on my website) Actually, it probably took 2-3 weeks, but I kept stopping the renderer to do other things.... My last entry for the IRTC was for the "Magic" round. I haven't had time recently to work on another entry. Currently, I'm 28 and live in Columbus OH. I work night shift for a pre-press production company, but I'm looking for something better.
