Ignacio Francisco Ramirez Paulino Member of the IRTC Mailing List Information below valid at 31 October 2025 Back to Main Page Well, my name is Ignacio Francisco Ramirez Paulino and I'm 23 years old. I live with my sister Rocio and my mother Beatriz here in Montevideo, Uruguay (that little land in the middle of Argentina and Brazil). I'm an Electrical Engineering student from the Engineering University of Uruguay http://www.iie.edu.uy (for the curious ones). I'm in the fifth year of the career (7 years in total) and my speciallization profile is something between Telecommunications and Electronics. At this moment I'm working in Digital Signal Processing and programming DSPs. I know there is someone in the list who has something to do with Motorola, right? I have been with my girlfriend for two years but we don't plan to live together yet. I started with Raytracing since I got the POVRAY 0.5 beta release in a shareware CD-ROM 3 years ago, but I didn't know the existence of the IRTC until a few months ago, because I finally got my own Internet connection this year. I LOVE Raytracing and graphics programming, and I have made some utilities for POVRAY (animation, parametrical curve modellig) but most of them became obsolete with the new features of version 3.1 (and since the clock was added in version 2.0). I have plenty of experience with C and C++ (and I'd LOVE to collaborate in a project such as a Renderer or modeller, contact me!!!) , know something about 80x86 Assembler (only little things) and by now I'm learning to program in the Java 1.2 languaje and the ·$~#%&3 Motorola 56002 DSP assembler. I'm planning to do something with Raytracing and DSPs in the future... My other big hobby is playing the guitar (instrumental, Jazz, brazilian music, etc.) with my group, and as every uruguayan, I love playing soccer!
