Hi, my name is Mike Norton.
Im 30 years old, married with 2 beautiful daughters, 7 and 2, and we live in Willows California.
I am the pastor of a small church here in town.

I have always been into computers, ever since my first Trash-80, TRS-80 for those who do not know the affectionate name we gave them, way back when I was in the 5th grade (man was that a long time ago). I got interested in 3D shortly after my wife and I were married. And what started it all?
PovRay.
I started out with Pov way back at version 2. I seem to remember that it was around the time that version 2 was released. This was also the time that to get it you had to get online with a BBS (remember those?)

These days I do not use Pov as much as I used to. I still love Pov, and Im amazed at what some of the talented programmers like Nathan Kopp and Chris Colfax can do with numbers, and yet produce some really cool images. Nowadays I am primarily using BMRT, or trying to :) I also dabble with Radiance. There is something about the challenge of these packages that intrigue me.

I could go on but the basic stuff is there. If you have any questions I guess you can ask :-)

Have a great day.

Mike Norton
