My name is Stephen Lumini, age 31, Canadian.
I am the proud father of three children - Teresa, Anthony, and Julia. Once they are tucked in bed, you can find me in front of my computer tracing rays! Ray tracing consumes most of my free time(my wife, Linda takes up the rest), and it has cost me quite a bit of sleep(and I don't seem to watch TV anymore). However, I wouldn't trade any of it. I have always loved art (Da Vinci over Picasso), and am somewhat disappointed that my drawing skills stalled at age 7. Now with POVray though, I can make some amazing pictures. I can't thank the POVteam enough for making POV freeware!!
Programs:
POVray 3.1 - Intermediate
sPatch 1.5 - Expert
Moray 3 - Advanced
3DS r2 - Novice
Paint Shop Pro - Advanced
Strengths: Bezier patches through sPatch - I can make anything imaged.
Weakness: Still have trouble with making POVray textures look realistic. I just try different patterns with different scales and transforms until something looks good. Media!!
Working On: Horror picture, plus another called The 9th floor.
Objective: To win the IRTC at least once!
