I am Wolfram Koska, I am 18 years old and I am from Germany. I just want
to introduce myself, as so many others are doing at this time.
My main interest is,
with the exception of going to school ;-)- as you could easily imagine
- computers, especially computer graphics.
I have been programming for 5 years
now, mainly pascal and c++. Only DOS 16-bit based :-(
Most of the time I
spent on figuring out how to display fast and nice graphical effects, and
I wrote some nice little demos.
After some time, I began to use some
shareware cad-programs, and then went on to Povray, which was (and is)
freeware. I love this! ;-)
First, I used the DOS version on a 386, but not
for long. It was just too slow for me, I am normally learning by doing and
this was not possible with this
While coding my programs, I got into contact with a lot
of mathematics, which of course helped me at school (a great disadvantage
now, mathematics is so boring now at school
Yea, and after christmas, I am going to buy a new computer, one main
reason is:

computer games, especially if they have really amazing graphics (wonder
why
I enjoy reading this list,
although there are sometimes too many too long mails with too many english
words I don't know yet....but sometimes, somehow, I will learn them all ;-)
